Title: Applying lessons from the pandemic for non-invasive sample collection for infectious diseases: From saliva collection for COVID testing to urine self-sampling for HPV testing
Overview: This workshop will focus on the potential of using non-traditional sample types including saliva and urine for diagnostic testing.
We will cover data on the benefits of utilizing saliva as a sample type for SARS-CoV-2 testing during a pandemic as well as explore advances in using first-void urine as a non-invasive, self-sampling method for detection of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and other sexually transmitted infectious (STIs).
The speaker panel includes a group of experts, offering various insights and perspectives.
