Aim: To investigate whether the first-void collection volume has an effect on the detection of human and viral DNA endpoints and evaluate different DNA extraction protocols.
Partners: Novosanis, Self-Screen, VAXINFECTIO University of Antwerp, Amsterdam UMC
Results: The different collection volumes showed good concordance for hrHPV positivity on the HPV Risk assay. In addition, no significant differences were observed for human DNA endpoints (Beta-globin, GAPDH and ACTB) between different collection volumes.
