Novosanis awards best MedTech project at Best of PO 2015 Event

Novosanis, a Flemish medical device company, awarded the best MedTech master project from the Faculty Design Sciences and Product Development, University of Antwerp, on Friday 3rd of July in Antwerp.
Five product developers were selected by an independent jury to present their master theses during the Best of PO Awards. A total of four awards were handed by industry after the presentations among which the award by Novosanis for the best MedTech project.
The award was handed by Koen Beyers, CTO at Novosanis and Master in Product Development. The winning project entitled ‘HospiFlow’ by Stephanie Reynders proved to the best in the category MedTech.
“We are very proud to hand this award for the best MedTech project for the first time to this young high-potential product developer” says Koen Beyers. “In the HospiFlow project, Stephanie Reynders succeeded in meeting both patient and healthcare worker needs. With her Master degree in product development, she’ll have an exciting and very promising career ahead”.
A few years ago Hanne De Bauw was awarded with the Best of PO Award by Verhaert for the 2Pi urine collection device (now Colli-Pee™ ) next to Ruben Camerlynck for the VAXINTRADERMAL device (now VAX-ID™). Both devices are part of Novosanis' portfolio.
